BLDA attained a hard-fought planning permission for a strikingly contemporary house on a large plot in Hampstead.
Camden Council’s strict planning policies required that the demolition and replacement of buildings was fully justified in sustainability terms.
The design and the content of the application convinced the planners that this proposed modern replacement building was justified from a whole-life cycle sustainability perspective, particularly since it was designed to the highest feasible sustainability standards in optimising energy efficiency.
